Diamond Systems Corporation manufacture a large selection of data acquisition add-on cards in the PC/104 standard (ie. they measure 90 x 96mm and can be stacked aboard PC/104 computers). They provide analog I/O modules, digital counter/timer and I/O modules, communications modules and a sound blaster compatible audio module. Their I/O modules have even been used aboard space-shuttle flights, which testify to their ruggedness and reliability. Their latest offering is the Diamond-MM-32-AT which has 16 12-bit analog inputs 2 12-bit analog outputs, FIFO for full-speed sampling and autocalibration. The autocalibration is an important feature for embedded analog I/O boards as it allows near instantaneous calibration at any time without the use of external equipment. DESCRIPTION
Hercules II EBX is a high performance, RoHS compliant successor to the popular Hercules EBX first introduction in 2001. The original Hercules EBX boards introduced a new level of integration in EBX format CPU boards. Combining processor, data acquisition, and power supply onto one board resulted in a thinner, lighter, more rugged and easier to assemble embedded system. The 3-in-1 design addressed the needs of mobile and vehicle applications by offering the benefits of reduced size, weight, cost and power consumption.
